Hip Hound Brace - About
The Hip Hound Brace is for Dogs of All Ages
For Young Dogs: The Hip Hound brace is appropriate for young dogs who suffer from low back pain and early hip dysplasia symptoms. It can also support the lower back and hip area for dogs recovering from surgery or injury.
For Senior Dogs: The Hip Hound is great for older dogs who have difficulty getting around due to hip dysplasia, arthritis or general back end weakness and mobility issues. The brace provides support and stability while helping to decrease pain and inflammation while active.
Please Note: If your dog cannot stand on their own, the Hip Hound mobility brace will not provide enough support. A brace will not provide support for dogs with degenerative myelopathy or a neurological/ neuromuscular disorder.
Available in Sizes Extra-Small Through Extra-large
The Hip Hound brace includes two leg brace panels and a harness. It fits dogs with a height of at least 11 inches and a chest circumference of at least 12 inches. Both the brace unit and harness are adjustable. Since the brace is designed to be used when your dog is active, you can leave the harness on and slip the mesh brace on and off as needed.
