Trooper Pax was a big boy that had a lot of issues and was a hospice rescue for a year and a half before he crossed the rainbow bridge. He had no hip ball on one side. You all fit him with an Orthodog Hip Hound and changed our lives for the better.

In the process, the first Hip Hound brace turned out to be a little small for his big self, so we met in the parking lot and moved him up a size. You told me to keep the original hip portions (or donate) as I saw fit. Well, I tucked it away in Trooper's Hip Hound bag and eventually with his larger one after his passing.

I now have a 10-year old Hurricane Irma rescue from 2017. She has recently developed weakness and arthritis in her hips. I woke up, this morning, with the thought of Trooper Pax's brace... maybe it would work for MayaJoy. Well, of course, it was huge on her HOWEVER, there was Trooper's original too-small brace in the mesh bag with it. Fits her like a dream. Of course it does. She took to it, immediately and we had our first walk this morning with no tripping or "melting" of her back legs.
