How does affiliate marketing work?
Affiliates make money by promoting our products on their websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media. A special tag is added to the links you use to drive people to our site, so our site can attribute sales to each affiliate marketer. Then you’ll get a commission for all sales you generate.

Who can participate?
Anyone in the US or Canada that is committed to helping improve dog mobility is eligible. All participants must agree to our program terms and conditions.
Does it cost anything to participate?
Nope.
Do you have resources to help affiliates?
Absolutely! We have a truly talented designer who has made several graphics you can use on your website, social media, or newsletters. You can find these under “creatives” when logged in as an affiliate. We also have a whole library of articles that go in-depth into the conditions our braces support.
I’m signed up. Now what?
Once you’ve completed your application, the Ortho Dog team will review it. Once you’re approved, you’ll get an email confirmation with a login to your affiliate account. Within the affiliate account area, you’ll be able to generate affiliate links to different pages on the Ortho Dog website. For example, you may want to create different links for our Cruciate Care Knee Brace page and our Hip Hound Brace page.
Once you have generated your affiliate links, you’re ready to share with your networks and start earning.
How are sales tracked?
When people visit the Ortho Dog website using one of your affiliate links, their session will be tracked and any purchases made after using your link will be credited to your affiliate account. Once a visitor uses your link, anytime that same user returns to the website within 45 days, you will get credited for any purchases made by them. The only exceptions to this rule would be if a user clears their browser cookies or does not allow cookies, or if a user visits the Ortho Dog website from a different affiliate’s link after visiting it from your affiliate link.
How much will I earn?
Ortho Dog offers a 10% commission on all sales through affiliates. Our average order value is $166, and our most popular product, the Cruciate Care Knee Brace, is $255. What you earn is based on how many visitors you send to the Ortho Dog site that end up making a purchase.
For example, let’s say you email your network and advertise the Cruciate Care Knee Brace (using your affiliate link), and your network makes 30 knee brace purchases. Those purchases amount to $7,050 in sales, which means you would earn $705.
When will I get paid?
Quarterly. After the end of each quarter, the affiliate will be paid in the first month of the following quarter. So if Q1 covers January through March, the affiliate will be paid for Q1 in April.
